Resolution of LIVESTOCK FRIENDLY COUNTY STATUS for Red Willow County, Nebraska:

WHEREAS, The Comprehensive Plan adopted for Red Willow County, Nebraska promotes the furtherance of the livestock industry within the County.

WHEREAS, The Comprehensive Plan for the County directs the placement of Livestock Production in locations compatible with other land uses.

WHEREAS, The Comprehensive Plan for the County gives recognition to the primary importance of the livestock industry in the County.

WHEREAS, The Red Willow County, Nebraska, Zoning Regulations are designed to promote the sizing and location of livestock production units to ensure compatibility between land usage.

WHEREAS, The Red Willow County Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulations are designed for the citizens of the County.

THEREFORE, let it be RESOLVED that we the duly elected Commissioners of Red Willow County, Nebraska, for the purpose of the promotion of the County’s livestock industry and the economic well being of the County, DO HEREBY DECLARE RED WILLOW COUNTY, NEBRASKA, a Livestock Friendly County. In addition we do authorize the use of LIVESTOCK FRIENDLY COUNTY in the wordage used for promotion of the attributes of the County.
